Newer bar with a large selection of beers in a broad style selection. Decent service, well lit, conveniently next to Brewsters and downtown near my meetings. Some unusual new brewers available.Happy hour

Large bar, basically a modern take on a loud sports bar, specialising in pizza and good beer. Not particularly classy or quiet, but a place to drink nice beer while watching a game. Friendly staff, pizza was tasty, beer menu long and selection pretty good (although who picked their European selection - Boddies pub ale and Kronie blanche?)

A pretty good restaurant/bar/pub with a great beer selection (was here for the Dieu du Ciel tap take-over) and great food. The staff was friendly and prices very reasonable.

Cool video board menus showing ABV, price and approximate quantity remaining, so you know what to order before it’s gone. Nice mix of local and distant brews. Pizza was pretty good.

Beer Revolution: - one of the few good beer places in Calgary. Albeit for the product, not atmosphere. The place is newish/modern, with too many TV screens, but they have some good and rare stuff from very good small European breweries. When I visited:  On draught: De Molen (Op & Top!), Mikeller, Ankerbrau and bigger ones like Paulaner, Mort Subite. Locals are represented, including home brews. Not an enormous selection. Food is basic (sandwiches, snacks, pizze). Excellent flatbread. Fresh and crispy. Staff is friendly, but a bit busy with each other and not always knowledgeable. Music is alternative. Wifi did not work.

The place for the beer geek to visit in Calgary. They make an effort to constantly rotate kegs and bring in as much variety as possible. Also have a selection of bottles that they rotate as well. They atmosphere is run of the mill pub style, but hey, you’re there for the beer. This place is light years ahead of what was available in Calgary 2 years ago.

Easily one of the best beer venues in Calgary. They have an ever-changing list of 24 taps and 8 bottles. The screens show a live update of what beers are available and how much is left. The selection on my couple of visits encompassed Canadian, American and Danish craft beers. Unlike standard places in Calgary they offer beer in a variety of sizes, 8oz being a good choice for the rater! Staff were friendly and fairly knowledgeable. The music choice (mostly alternative/rock) was very good on both my visits. Food was tasty and decent value. Great place all-round.

Constantly rotating microbrew draught beer & bottle menu. A tasty but limited food menu, great value for downtown Calgary where big brewery chemical beer will run you $8.99 a pint, you can get great beer for between $5.99-7.50/pint.

Very enjoyable place. Good food and for the limited number of taps, they rotate often and are populated with good beers. I always like the offerings of half glasses too. House beers are brewsters beers though. But if you're going to this place and ordering house beers GTFO hahaha Service was great and friendly. Good variety of tables available for a range of group sizes. No patio, though, which is a shame and hurts the business on summer days.

Great rotating selection of beers, and really great value (8 oz glasses are, surprisingly, exactly half the cost of the 16 oz). Great for tasting.
