We visited on a Sunday afternoon, the dining room was about half full and the bar area was full. We sat at a table and were immediately greeted and given menus (which was nice). We then proceeded to wait about 10 minutes until our server came back to us. It’s a revamped industrial space that has a fully exposed walk-in fridge along with a semi-open kitchen. House-made beers are decent and the guest tap list although short is interesting. Food consists of the expected slap-and-serve brewery grub...and the prices are reasonable (in the Bellevue sense). With all the hype and buzz regarding Bellevue’s first microbrewery I hate to say that I am somewhat disappointed. I really wanted to LOVE this brewery but in reality I do not. It feels like a shell of a brewery-restaurant operating in a space that still seems temporary.

I expected your typical new-brewery experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious and open, relaxed, clean and well laid out (keg cooler is directly behind the bar), though it could use some large-format art or photographs to break up the minimalism ... although that may be in the plans (this brewery has only been open for a month and a half). There’s also a huge projection screen and some flat screens. I didn’t eat but I overheard great things about the food, and everything I saw pass by us looked good. All the bartenders that took care of us were attentive and very friendly. The five beers on tap were all tasty and above average or well above average, and I’m sure they plan on having more on tap on a regular basis, based on the open taps. If you’re a hophead, you’ll really love this place. I’m not sure how they acquired Citra hops just starting out, but they use them in their IPA and CDA. This place is definitely worth visiting.

Great new place and the beers are of the hooks awesome. The food was very nice and they got tons of room for expansion. This is going to be a great addition to the WA beer scene.

Facebook Brewing Company finally opens its doors. After two years of "Coming Soon!" announcements, status updates, pictures of concrete floors, and all the other preamble, they have finally opened their doors. These guys are 100% motivated to be the absolute best in the world. This sets them apart from almost every other brewery on the planet. Everybody else wants to make great beer, be a part of the community, maybe serve some great food, give back with jobs, have fun, and enjoy time with their friends. BBC makes no bones about the fact that they want to get big, create revenue, and attain recognition as top dogs. You know what? That’s perfectly fine. They’ve already secured more square footage than many breweries that have been around for years, and already have a brew system in place (20bbl) that’s larger than many established breweries. They do have a couple of employees with brewery experience, and their first couple of beers are good. The kitchen is already operational, with a menu of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and entrees. Good choices for brewpub far. The dining room itself is full of matching furniture, high ceilings, flat screen TVs, and lots of prefabricated materials locked tidily into place. These guys are working hard at getting the most out of the millions of investment dollars they have behind them, and no doubt they will succeed. I wish them all the best.
