96 Medium sized store with nice adjacent taproom. 34 taps and more than 1500 beers. Lots of singles, plenty of different styles and breweries. Some nice stuff on the taps as well. Was pleasure to meet the manager and the missus, nice and friendly folks. Great place. Would like to come back. |
86 First stop in PDX. I stopped by shortly after opening and the bar side didn't open yet so I didn't check it out. The bottle shop side is nice. Fully beer and beer adjacent stuff. No wine or spirits. Rare stuff. Most if not all things as singles. Shopkeeper was nice. Parking could be a bitch. Prices a bit high but seem in line for the area. Recommended. |
82 Headline is that this place is fantastic. Detail is that the bottle shop is very good but a notch or two below being truly top-end, and the taplist has some very good stuff but just doesn't have those 1-2 taps that you'd go out of your way to get. Whole is more than the sum of its parts but based on my visit, this is merely an excellent beer bar / bottle shop and not one of the top 50 or so beer places in the world. |
86 Cool bar attached to the even cooler bottle shop next door. Seems like a rotating list of great beer with a main focus of the immediate area and Washington state. Small pours only available in their large beers for some reason. Lots of outdoor seating in the front and back. Store next door is super well stocked, with tons of local beer available by the can – tickers take note. Also a good place to pick up Hair of the Dog beer if, like me, you aren’t willing to go through the onerous process of ordering and fitting their tiny window of pickup while HotD is closed during COVID. Managed to pick up a Matt and Cherry Adam I hadn’t had. |
72 top notch bar and beer store. its got the nsme. 36 taps. some great and unique and many fillers. |
82 In a quite neighboorhood this place pops up, fantastic location. Great beers to go and ok beer to drink |

90 Without a doubt, one of the top three pubs in Portland. The biercafé is unassuming, comfortable, community-oriented. Always a fun and high-quality draft selection, plus the enormous selection that comes from attaching a bar to Portland's best bottle shop. |
86 Fantastic place located in a quiet residential area. Both a bottle store and a pub. Good selection of beers in the store, and also from local breweries. The tap line in the pub had a varied selection with also several rare and local beers. Definitely worth the a short bus ride east from city center. |
