Cozy and small pub in Deventer. When we got there on wednesday 6.30 pm, we didn’t get anything like the almost empty pub as we expected. Instead, the place was packed with young and beautiful women. Interns from the local hospital the bartender later told me. They left at 8 and left an almost empty pub. Taps include some beers from dutch microbreweries as well as a lot of belgians. Their own beer Pyromaan is well worth trying. Bottles aren’t very interesting, mostly common belgians and only a few rarer beers. Nice music and not very expensive.

Exceptional beerpub in the beautiful old town of Deventer. They serve their own beer, which is easy but good. Ask for the bottled selection, the lists on the wall are no longer up to date. Good service, nice and open atmosphere, well priced. I love this place.

Nice little place, easy walking distance from the train station. 18 good tap beers and well priced.

A nice little brown bar in the center of Deventer. Have a nice selection of Belgians and a small selection of good Dutch brews like ’t IJ and Emelisse. They also have a few beers of their own.

They didn’t have all the beers listed and the bartender did not know some beers that were listed on the board (on the wall). It’s a nice place, friendly staff, food’s typical drink food, and the prices are good. Though the selection seemed a bit small, they told us not everything was in at the moment, maybe we hit the wrong day. It’s and ok bar.

Nice cafe with a decent selection of beers, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. I have one of their supposed to be own beers. However I doubt it’s their own beer. Possibly brews from ’t IJ.

Very nice student place on the main square of the city. Good beer selection, and they also brew their own beers, which can be tasted in the pub, and (if you are lucky) bought in bottle to take away. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful, and the athmosphere in general very nice. The only drawback was that the music was turned up very loud when the male barkeeper showed up.
