Themed restaurant that has its own brewery inside that can be seen while eating. Food is typical polish and the decoration tries to be bavarian. They have a handful of beer styles available, not astonishing but nicely brewed.

Part of biggest Polish network of brewpubs & beer restaurants. Mind that they brew beer not in every restaurant - some of them are just simple beer restaurants serving Bierhalle beers. As for beer, these guys are quite good - 3 regulars + 3 seasonals. This very restaurant is very cool as pot stills are transparent and you can see brewing process in them when they make beer.

One of the Bierhalle chain which does in this case appear to brew here. The "coppers" are see through...weird. As there are so few brewpubs in Warszawa it’s a must to do but nothing special. Tram from the side of Centralna station goes direct. Just the light and wheat on when we visited but both good.

Placed at one of the corners of ahuge shopping mall. A small of walk from the metro, close to trams and taxi stops just outside. German inspired place. Very good beer, clean, crispa nd right on style. 0.4 liter pours are the smallest they do. Food was great and eeven better for the value. Good stop.

Bavarian-style brewery inside the biggest shopping mall in warsaw. The three beers I sampled (alt, pils and weizen) were ok.

Located in a enormous shopping mall. The good thing is that you can let your wife go shopping when you relax here. A bit of a tourist trap. But ok beer. Only three of their own beer on tap. Nothing else.

On main drag, feels like a chain but still has nice atmosphere because crowded and sunny patio. Not sure about the inside. Bavarian theme, down to the blue and white checkered table cloth and many people drinking a "mass." Tourist friendly. Beers are not so great, kit beers, but much better than the BrowArmia down the road.

Part of a chain, there are 2 locations in Warsaw and three others in Poland. The Arkadia shopping mall Bierhalle is larger than its downtown partner, and features an outdoor patio and a bit of greenspace relief from the busy streets. My Pils at Arkadia was fresher and lighter to the taste than the Altbier I sampled downtown, and the 1 litre stein option at 20 Polish Zlotych (about $6.60 US) was superior to Browarmia’s 0.5 litre "large" size. You could also settle for a 0.4 litre size for 8 Zlotych (roughly $2.65 US). Bierhalle aims for a younger crowd, and on the evening I visited in July 2010 there were guys in football shirts watching post-World Cup football on big screen TVs, with The Doors and Roy Orbison being piped through on the sound system. All in all, the beer here isn’t bad, but it doesn’t match a chain such as Rock Bottom in the USA. Yes America, you’ve got a good thing going!
