Small and stripped down bottle shop with lots of traditional German beer like steinbier, doppelbocks, zwickel, keller bier, and so on, but also some American and Belgian stuff. The lady who works there has a huge interest in beer and is one of the nicest clerks I’ve ever experienced. Extremely helpful and kind. Probably the best place to buy beer in Hamburg!

Nice bottle shop about 5 km outside central Hamburg. Be AWARE that it is CASH ONLY! Otherwise they have a very good selection of German beers and also some foreign beers. When they saw that I was from ratebeer, the wife came and showed me all the new stuff and made some very good recommandations, so service was excellent. Beers are all cheap as everywhere else in Germany. I will definately come again.

Fascinating place, I was hoping for a few more foreign beers but they are mostly German. It’s a great range though, with several German microbrews I’d never heard of. The owner’s friendly, and once she gets an idea what you like, she’ll suggest others too. Most bottles are pretty reasonably priced. NB: Beware that it is not open on Mondays! My first trip there was wasted...

This place is pretty close to where I live and also on the way and convenient when I’m heading home from work. The lady who owns this place is very friendly and makes the place fun to visit. Lots of good German beer and a few from around the world including one of my favorite IPAs. I love that I found this place and it will continue to be my number one place to go for beer/bier.

Good shop with a stable selection of german beers (including a couple of modern brews). Also some randomly choosed beers from around the world. Good and knowing staff. Not in the city center but very close to a u-bahn station.

Small store with lots of German goodies including some from the relatively new German Micro scene. They have some foreign beers as well, but most are fairly common. Excellent service. If you’re looking for a bottle shop in Hamburg, go here.

Great selection, by far the biggest in the area. Some hidden and unexpected gems. Fair prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable stuff. A pleasure to visit.

Visited on a Friday afternoon September 30, 2011. This is without doubt the best German beer store that I have visited. They had about 250 different beers, most of them German. The store itself had a nice atmosphere; but the best thing was the extremely friendly female owner. She was talkative and told me gladly about the different beers. I could have spent many hours inside the store. I bought 12 different beers, the total cost was 60 EUR, the beers were unique so the prices were more than ok in my opinion. It’s not every day you buy German IPA, Imperial Stout, etc. The store was easy to find, it took about 15 minutes to reach it with S-Bahn from the Main Station and with a short walk. It’s the same S-Bahn line that you can take to the Airport in Hamburg. I would love to vist this place again.

Easily the best selection for hundreds of kilometers. Appears to use TARDIS technology (it’s bigger on the inside…). Well worth the ten-minute (or so) subway ride from the city center.
