Small but pleasant bar near Rotterdam Blaak station. Basically one square room, old fashioned with lots of wood and a real fireplace - a welcome change in Rotterdam. Selection is not that exciting with a lot of Belgian’s in bottle, and a few Dutch beers, usually with at least something new to try on tap between my infrequent visits. Good and friendly service. Certainly the best beer bar in a city that’s not blessed with craft beer bars.

Good beer pub in Rotterdam, maybe the best (but I think I like Haagse Bluf better). The ambiance is great, as is their beer list. Most of the beers here are Belgian, but you find some nice Dutch brews too. Not very adventurous, sad enough. The staff is friendly and well informed.

12 taps and lots of bottles. High prices. No real rarities. OK service. OK location (quite easy to get there). Lots of students on Friday night. I believe this is the best pub in Rotterdam but Rotterdam isn’t exactly the beer capital of the Netherlands.

Large selection, homely ambiance, student/higher educated crowd

it’s a pub full of students with a predictable and expensive selection of mostly belgian beers... nice location and interior, but the ambiance is spoiled by all the cocky non-beer loving students who lavish themselves with pils... fireplace is nice though, as is the cat, the bitterballs and the barpersonel...

Nice spot for an night out, if you like to combine great beer with party mood. During the week is a relaxed place, but in on the weekends it is packed. Big list of beers, that are served with the proper glassware

Cosey place, just in the outer ring of the city center. Atmosphere is pleasant, friendly personnel, but they do not seem to know much about beer. If you are familiar with all the well known belgians, you won’t find anything new here. Nevertheless fine and enjoyable abbey beers.

A solid, but not great beer selection. Short bar with four stools plus six tables. It’s mostly a local bar and the customers seem quite friendly,as are the staff.

Went here a handful of times during two different visits to Rotterdam. Young crowd not a lot of space gets pretty cramped late on. Fairly substantial selection. Quite a few beers on tap and a ton of bottles from around the world. Bar tenders were knowledgeable and helpful.
