Great vibe and a great bar. Really upped their gmae recently with more and more taps being added to the rotating lines and more beers in Bottles. Some great gigs too but something for everyone. Definitely the best place to start a night out in Camden.

Visited several times, and worth a visit if you are in Camden area. Can at times be very busy. Have a nice bottle collection as well. Normally beers are in good condition. Nice range of beers, friendly staff.

From the outside I didnt even notice there was a pub. Let alone that they have a decent selection of beers. Several good beers on tap and a whole range of great bottles like Stone and some de Molen. Bar is like a hardrock-cafe with loads of 70s and 80s hardrock and glamrock. Actually, I didnt look at ratebeer before I entered, so was pleasantly surprised and had a great time! :-)

Popped in here to try Camden town beers when visiting brewdog last December. Pleased to find a good selection of cask too, tasty pizzas and good music. Got chatting with an Italian music journalist and great staff too trying their best to match peoples taste preferences to beers.

A dark, goth-like music pub tucked away behind Camden High Street. It’s a sister pub to the Earl of Essex in Islington. Good atmosphere and a good range of bottles. (Visited 5 August 2012).

A quite dark bar with that was a bit rough. A decent selection of casks/taps and bottles. Service was slow and the bar wasn’t particularly busy. Prices were nice but I wasn’t overly impressed.

Definitely my sort of place, a more than reasonable draft and bottled selection and White Zombie playing.

I don’t quite know what to make of this place. The ambiance is generally great, but the whole hard rock vibe was punctured by the gratuitous presence of Springsteen on the bar’s playlist. The service is fine. The selection’s pretty strong. The bottle list may not offer 90 beers, but it does have some decent finds (Pannepeut, Clown Shoes stuff). There’s no crap on tap, nice. The pricing was very strange. Some stuff was completely reasonably priced, other stuff was at a price point clearly higher than what the likes of Craft or the Euston Tap charge. Overall, I’ll keep my eye on this place and revise my rating in the future...
