Block 15 is located downtown, several blocks from campus. Iíve been going there for several years and it is a go-to establishment when visiting Corvallis. Food is great and the beer is even better. There is usually a pretty decent selection of year-round brews as well as several seasonal/cask brews which are rotating. Food is great, but prices are a tad high for what it is. It also gets busy in the evening and if you want to eat dinner at 6:00pm on a Friday or Saturday, it would be best to call ahead to have a table reserved so you donít have to wait 45min for a table. Overall, I really enjoy Block 15.

Awesome place. Nearly 20 beers of their own on tap. Went for a special event, but I bet the usual service is similar. Excellent overall brews and good food. The Brunch went off perfectly and was a blast. Great place.

The second stop in Corvallis after Les Caves (which is the same ownership.) Corvallis has come a long way since Block 15 opened up over 5 years ago now, and I think itís the inventiveness of the brewery that does it. They release a constant and well rounded series of beers from IPAs to sours to RISes and thereís typically something new or interesting to try when you come here. Floor space is well maximized since itís not that large of a space (2 stories). Service is generally good and reliable, and the prices for both food and beer are Oregon average. Itís mostly pub fare, but itís good pub fare. Recommended, however, Les Caves is where you really want to go.

Not bad. The beers are a little heavy on the hops, but they do have some bottles available at times, some growlers at times, and tastes are always available to find what you really want. The staff was nothing but polite and kind even when they were very rushed.

Not a single fucking bottle for sale! Damn it! What the hell? Iíve been waiting for a year or so now to visit this place. I finally get there, and BAM!, not a single bottle for sale. So, in that light, Iíd be very wary of this place, if youíre expecting to leave with bottles of their stuff. What can you say about their beer? Itís delicious. I had an IPA, which was awesome, and their Gose, which was decent. The food was filling, and fairly good. The service was nice. This place was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Not much to Corvallis itself. Other than the damn lack of bottles for sale, I can say that this was a great place. They had an extensive selection of their own stuff. Kind of hippie-ish, but I think thatís Corvallis for you.

Stopped in for a burger and a beer on a Thursday late afternoon. 15 taps of their own brews with a good selection of styles. Attentive and friendly service. A decent size bar with some crowded booths next to it. Spacious seating around the side and upstairs. The beer was great and the burger was good. Enjoyed.

(Visited 02/2010): Block 15 is located in the campus are of Oregon State University on Jefferson, not too far off 20/34. Street parking is available on the surrounding blocks.
The brewpub is on the corner and is a brick building with lots of windows looking in. The interior is a mustard yellow color and the bar is along the left side, with a narrow walkway between it and booth seating on the right. The second level allows more seating. The crowd definitely skews younger than we are but we didnít feel out of place.
There are 10 or so beers available at Block 15, including a Blonde, IPA, Porter, Belgian Cherry Quad, and Imperial Stout. They also have a cask beer. All of the beers were average to above average, with nothing really standing out as exceptional or terrible. They offer a sampler as well.
Service on a weekend late afternoon was decent. We sat at the bar right in front of the bartender and she did a good job with the sampler and with checking on us. She also pointed us to another brewpub in town (which we werenít able to visit).
We did not try any food on this visit.
Overall there is no reason not to visit this place when in Corvallis. Not really a destination in itself but worthwhile.
