A lovely setting but beers insipid, obviously appealing to the uneducated masses. Not cheap, that and bland beer is why we ate elsewhere!

Right on the water over looking the musical theatre - very nice to sit outside and enjoy a meal and beer. Selection is limited, but the hefe isn’t too bad. Decent.

A bit too big and clean to be cozy. Very touristy. The beer I tried was Ok, but quite boring. Service was a bit stressfull.

Brandnew brewpub located at the most touristy part of the harbor. The two beers they have so far, an unfiltered pilsener and a Hefeweizen are well-crafted and sessionable, nothing very special. The place belongs to the owner of a well-known regional chain of steak houses. Food is not very remarkable. Inside there is room for 400 people. The place is very crowded and loud, in the evenings you might have to wait a few minutes to be seated. Weather permitting, there is a terrace on the roof with a nice view of the Elbe river and a smaller choice of food and drinks. Staff is friendly, english is spoken. Next time I’ll try the terrace and stick to drinks only, inside it is too loud and busy to be really enjoyable.
