80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 Fatehunter (32) Corbett, Oregon | February 2, 2013 It’s small place in a strip mall with outdoor seating. They had around twenty quality beers on tap with another 30 or so in bottles. Most of their beers are from California and Oregon. They have a good happy hour. Their food was great, and we’re going back to try all their different kinds of mac and cheese. Their basic mac and cheese was great. You order and pay at the bar, and the service there was good. In general, and especially for the area, it’s great place to grab a couple beers and eat some good food. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Swillbur (24) Arizona | April 2, 2012 21 taps, decent bottle selection. A few blown taps, i guess they are getting ready for beer week so its semi acceptable. Had port brewing shark attack and left coast tresties IPA. Beers served in proper glassware. Blazing hot inside but it may just be me. Ordered carnitas street tacos, no bad or great. Staff is friendly, not sure of their knowledge of beer. Very very small place, there might be more taps then seats. I will return. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 20/20 drinkwell (11) , | October 23, 2011| Updated November 28, 2011 Jackpot for the area. Finally a great place to imbibe fantastic craft beers. 20 taps that rotate with some beers I’ve never heard of or seen on tap, which can be challenging for me as I like to try all. Great ambiance and knowledgeable owner and staff. Exceptional mac & cheese was a bonus. By far the best beer spot in the Sacramento area that I’ve come across.
Visited again, with another exceptional experience.
| 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 mrmartin (34) Oakland, California | October 21, 2011| Updated June 20, 2012 Just on principle i am very excited that Boneshaker showed up in Rocklin of all places. For beer drinkers in the Sacramento area this place is a gem
Twenty-taps of (mostly) Pacific-Northwest micros and maybe a third were local Sacramento & Placer county breweries.
Good build out in a new strip mall. 4 booths, another 6 tables, and 12 stools along the bar. Its small but friendly. There’s now another six tables outside as well which make it great for summer nights.
Bottle selection was limited but decent. Food options are typical pub food, sandwiches, salads etc. Good proportions. The Mac and Cheese variations looked pretty awesome.
Staff was friendly. I will definitely return here when i’m in Rocklin / Roseville siting family. Keep it up Boneshaker! | 80 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 marcus (146) Sacramento, California | October 10, 2011| Updated June 20, 2012 This place is located in a strip mall in Rocklin. There is a bar with around a dozen stools and several tables and booths as well as a couple flat screen TVs. There are 20 taps of well-selected craft beers and 20 or so bottles and a decent menu of mostly bar food. The owner is very friendly and beer-knowledgeable. There is a good vibe in this bar, making for a fun experience. |
