Nice little shop with decent selection and prces. When it comes to special very limited releases they do a great job making it fair for everyone. Bravo

Hard to find on Lincoln in the midst of a block just north of Irving Park. Inside is cool, well spaced shelving, with nothing above waist level organized by state. Heavy IL, but a solid range from around the US. Prices are a touch more than other places within 10 minutes, but there is a larger selection than most and it is good stuff.

A great little shop right by Half Acre and Begyle with friendly knowledgeable staff. The interior is kind of bare but the selection is well curated and I could finally track down some Pipeworks Ninjas vs. Unicorns here. The coolest feature for me was their mix 4 or 6 packs. You need to buy 4 or 6 singles but you can choose from anything in the shop! Start at the wall of singles(prices vary depending on the beer) if you want something else just ask the staff. Seriously a fantastic set up for people like me passing through town. If I had known I would have skipped Binnyís mix-6 pack and just stocked up here. Thanks to this system I could grab a bunch of pumpkin ales. Another cool feature is they have a beer chiller so in 5-7 minutes your bottles/cans can be cold and ready to drink. I will be back.

Slightly limited hours has brought me twice to this place for it to be closed, 3rd time was a charm. Limited space, small aisles make for uncomfortable browsing. I bumped into the same dude 4 times. Beers are laid out by state, but a little hard to search as the shelves are pretty low. Nothing rare or blowing my mind, but the shelves arenít as picked over as some other spots so if you were looking for something sold out elsewhere this is a good place to look. With the hassle getting over here, I wouldnít come back. If I lived within walking distance Iíd come back. Otherwise to West Lakeview in this area.

This is starting to be my go-to place for mix and match six-packs on the north side of the city. Iíve been here a handful of times, friendly staff. Selection is pretty good, with consistent stocking of local faves (Pipeworks, Half Acre, Begyle, etc.) and partitioned sections for domestic and international craft brews. If youíre traveling, Iíd say go here & West Lakeview if youíre in the area.

I dont usually do any bottle shopping while on trips since I have to pay to get them home but this place is pretty cool and could convince me to take some stuff with me. Itís nice that they just put stuff out on the shelves without a lot of publicity. I saw a fair amount of lambic just sitting there, but itís all stuff that I already have plenty of so I didnt buy any. There is a singles section on the one side of the store with tons of locals. Good selection and very friendly service. A little pricey though.

Small shop Tony took me to after stop at Half Acre as we walked to train. Very nice selection of local beer and beer distributed to the area. Had already done a major shopping trip, so all I got was a Prairie Okie (never made it to Kentucky) and a Begyle (never saw it at BInnys). A restroom is in the back in case you still have to pee after your Half Acre two hour drinking stint (no bathrooms at train station).

Excellent beer-specialty store in the heart of the north-center corridor, just a block away from Half Acre Brewery. They have a superb selection of 12 ounce beers that are available for mix-six packs. The salesperson mentioned that you can pull bottles from any 6 pack in the store to create your own mix. Their bombers are diverse too, with a number of rare finds and limited releases that Iíve never seen before in Chicago. The prices are very competitive with anywhere else in town, and the ambiance is roomy and relaxing. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This store is a great addition to the neighborhood and a must-visit for beer enthusiasts.
