80 Visited 2020: This is a place of whose existence I have been aware a long time mainly due to some one-off Revelation Cat lambiek beers released ages ago. Some expectations here, located amongst several popular restaurants etc. but otherwise the street leading up to it is a bit derelict. At night lots of abandoned garage style buildings. Visited on a Saturday evening. Interior is odd spacious like some large futuristic deep vague neon coloured restaurant from the 90s? Hard to pinpoint, quite interesting. Server apologized for not being fluent in English but he spoke more than enough actually. He was quite lovely. Very spacious, lots of people popping in to eat something, have a drink and leave. Huge amount of taps but actual taplist was far smaller disappointingly and featured no Revelation Cat beers, they had a few taps with Revelation Cat tap handles. They were using probably only 1/3 of taps and half of the cask taps. Don’t see much point in having so many tap handles then but I suppose maybe at times they do use them. Tap list was decent, largely Italian nothing too crazy & fair prices. Food is more burgers etc. I had a seitan ciabatta sandwich which was quite nice, I vaguely felt like the seitan wasn’t made on the spot, definitely not necessary but would have given it more oeph. Bottle selection did have lots of very old looking standard 3 Fonteinen beers, no idea of age or price but they looked quite old & things like Lost Abbey, interesting and nice for sure. Nice enough place but definitely not in the top of what I visited in Rome, honestly I didn’t really get this places reputation, the few bottles of old 3 Fonteinen maybe? |

94 Gran bel locale con volta fatti di mattoni a vista e una terrazza riscaldata che ti permette di restare all'aperto anche d'Inverno.
Esclusivamente birre artigianale da bere, mentre si può fare fondo con degli ottimi hamburger. |

90 Visited in October, 2017. Came here for dinner. Sat at the bar, got a massively customized burger which wound up being one of the best burgers I've ever had. Awesome taplist of local Italian beers and a La Calabeza (Spain) tap takeover - around 8 taps of them. Very great beer bar (albeit a bit off the beaten path). |

86 Nice modern looking place. Well done in this old building. Nice atmosphere. The tap selection is really solid. Not many (or any) around with a better selection available. The location is a bit off pist. About 25-30 min walk from Ma Che. But you can take the bus down Viale di Trastevere. 5 min and you are there. You can also eat here. Highly recommendable |
