medium-sized brewery with small attached pub. minimally-decorated and a bit dingy. draft lagerbier and bottles of the vollbier helles for cheap. decent quality but the beer doesn’t stand out from anything in the area.

Quite cozy and dim rural brewery-tap in a typical franconian half-timbered house, next door to the brewery; when the pub is closed, You can sit on the brewery-yard ("beer-garden") and get some bottled brews directly from the lagering cellars....

Was closed when we went, but the nice couple sold us some bottles anyway. Is a cute-looking place but didn’t notice a beer garden.

This is a run down bierstube with high wooden panelling over which is a pee colored wall. Both the bar and the tables have tops of imitated wood. The crowd is very local and only men, and the air is filled with smoke. 1 beer on draft, 2 in the bottle.
