Friendly though very centrally located and the beers are decent. Didnt try the food but it looked quite good. 4 beers avalaible. You can get a 4 sampler for 3.90.

This is a large open plan joint under railway arches with a warm friendly feel to it. As you walk in, down a couple of steps the bar is just to the left, a few stools along it. You can also stand or sit to the right near the entrance otherwise it is food like seating on long tables. The toilets are to the right where another foody room and the brewing equipment is. Service was attentive and pleasant, beer quality fine and although I only had the ’Flammkuchen’ on my two visits (Feb 2013) the proper food looked huge and good. On my first visit I had the four glass ’Probe’ which held the only beers on tap available: good way to start if you don’t know which beer you are going to like.

Visited on the 21/12-2012. After some walking we finally manage ti find this place, which isn´t that difficult to find, if you know where to look :-) Placed under the arches of the S-Bahn, very cosy, deco is as a traditionel brauhaus, food and beer as well. Friendly staff, for sure a place to re-visit.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Nice looking brewpub/restaurant, fast service, just OK beers, didn’t try the food but looked good. You can order a sampler here, which is recommended imo. Had a nice time here though.

Cracking Bar good ’German’ food. Very friendly particularly good Dark beer called Original - Gets busy in the evenings.

De las mejores cervezas que probamos en Berlin, en un lugar increible en el centro. Bonito Brewpub, precios ajustados, tasting previo para elegir la cerveza. La comida muy buena, La Zwickel era espectacular.

Very much a restaurant with attached brewkit, beer was OK if not exceptional.

i like this place especially for it’s central location just off alex platz .. i never tried the food but seemed to me pretty standard .. the beer atre good but not exceptional, i prefer the original than pilsner and i enjoied the marzen as well ... the service is professional but not very frindly ..
