nice place, dece3nt bottles & draft selection, nothing really standing out on tap, had a reinhards IPA, ok. Lots of bottles. Perennial was new to me, saw a spider bite. 12% had some representation, shelton seemed light. Worth a stop

Reminded me of BierKraft, in terms that its a pub AND a store...what a great combination. They claim over 500 brands (maybe more like 200) for sale, and have 16 taps of goodness, at decent prices. They do offer 6 ounces sampler. Thee beers for sale are interesting, with rare stuff from Perenial, Cigar City, Alesmith, Marble and so on. The place was packed for the last game of the Euro Cup finale, and it was packed. Limited menu but interesting sandwiches, cheeses, charcuterie. Service was friendly and efficient. A great little place for shopping and a pint.

Very cool place. You can purchase a bottle and drink it in shop. Great tap list for growlers, flights, or a glass. Happy hour until 7, $3 pints! Free wifi. Very friendly staff. They also do the occasional tap takeover.

It’s a bar and a bottle shop or place to get bite. They have the perfect combination of what matters about beer...a fantastic selection, spacious comfortable seating in a no pretense atmosphere, and the best value of any place I can think of to drink. You can get a half pint for a few bucks while you browse or have your growler filled. Or you can sit for hours and drink from the ~12 draft lines and 10 full fridges (room temp also available) while paying fair bottle shop rather than bar prices. The owners work the bar and know beer really well. The selection is good enough to satisfy almost any serious beer nerd and has been steadily improving since they opened. The drafts are often heavily NY or regional specials. Frequent events that aren’t near as crowded as other of the NYC’s top spots make it a standout in the NY Craft Beer scene to me.

I really dig this kinda store. Craft beer, but you can drink it there in addition to taking growlers home. They put some thought into the space, too. I feel like I can just hang with my buds. There’s ambience - it’s not a distributor, you know? Really happy with the selection and discovered Monk’s Cafe Flemsih Sour Ale there. Gotta love a place that shows you a new fave!
