74 Small for a Brewdog. Booths and tables. Pretty standard taps with a few guests taps and a small bottle/can selection. Just snacks and charcuterie. Good, but Brewdog Castlegate may be a better choice |

70 So this was the original BrewDog bar. I could have guessed some of the decor was just a bit tried. Smaller than many BrewDog bars also a smaller selection and the fridges were almost empty. Maybe a passing visit on the way to BrewDog Castlegate. |
86 The original Brewdog bar, colloquially known as the ‘Flagship’. One of Brewdog’s smaller bars but one that many Brewdog fans & EFPs have a soft spot for. The usual decent selection of their own beers plus guests. Friendly, helpful staff. Can get busy at times |
80 Having enjoyed myself at Brewdog Castlegate, it was mandatory to pay a visit at the original location. This is a must for any beer traveler. It offers the same hipster environment: a large airy room with tables and hightops scattered about. There is a averagesize bar, where you get one of the many fine beers available. Of course, Punk IPA, a great sessional and a dark one all made for a wonderful evening - as he wandered to his hotel. Next stop is Edinburgh; we shall see what their Brewdog has to offer.

84 The first Brewdog bar and it’s pretty tiny! This place gets packed at weekends though you can usually get a seat. Plenty of options on draft from both their own range plus guests (all keg except the "is it cask?" Dead pony live. Good bottle selection though I never really investigate it. Knowledgeable staff, happy to offer tasters. The bar provides growler refills like most Brewdog bars and plays good music usually though often has acoustic performances that vary in quality. Food is limited to cheese and boards and I think pies and scotch eggs. Board games available. Has regular events such as tap takeovers/meet the brewer nights. |
