Had a friend tell me about this place during a recent trip to Chattanooga. Very nice. Warm winter night, and we were able to sit on the patio that looks out over the Tennessee River. The bartender was very helpful. Several local beers on tap. I’ll be visiting this place again when in Chattanooga.

A great location next to river on the North side, this place is smaller than most gas stations. The focus is on german style beers and food. The selection of beer won’t blow you away but some good stuff. I had some brats there and they were pretty good.

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. A Small restaurant with real nice patio that overlooks the river and downtown area. Had about 10 taps with mostly local and regional choices. Supposed to be a German Bistro and food is definitely geared in that direction. Had a patty melt with pimento cheese and spaetzle as a side which was delicious with their homemade horseradish mustard. Had a regional IPA which was decent. Service was solid and they have their own parking lot which is rare in the downtown area. Worth a stop as it is right across the street from Chattanooga brewing.
