80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 16/20 garrison (8) Cin. city, Ohio | February 18, 2013 A nice Ohio River view pub, a bit too yuppie for me, but it has a very nice beer selection list!! | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 15/20 phaleslu (314) Cincinnati, Ohio | February 3, 2013 Stopped in here with some friends on a Saturday night in early February. The location is on Riverside Drive on the east side of town. The bartenders claimed it wasn’t that crowded for a typical Saturday but it felt jammed. There is a narrow space between the bar and door and it’s hard to get through when people are standing around waiting for tables. Really nice bar space but the upstairs has a more bland feel. Great service here, really nice staff overall. About 2 dozen taps with a solid variety. Didn’t pay much attention to the bottles but that looked like a good list, too. Prices are surprisingly high for Cincinnati; $5 house drafts (contracted to Great Crescent), and all others were $7-$11.50. The $8 price point had the most selections. Wow. We didn’t eat but will be sure to sometime in the future. Good place. | 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 19/20 NachlamSie (447) Tennessee | October 17, 2012 This place is grossly underrated. If you consider yourself a beer enthusiast or a foodie, this is a mandatory stop in Cincinnati. I can’t think of anywhere else in town that approaches the quality and focus of BrewRiver. The beer lineup features an excellent core selection of house beers with a rotating offering. There are another at least dozen guest taps with focus on rarities and high quality offerings. Bottle selection also featured some highly desireables. The food is absolutely top notch. Everything is made in house, down to the ketchup. Beer is incorporated in basically every single dish and beer and wine pairings are featured for everything on the menu. I had an oyster po boy with Sriracha remoulade. man. delicious. All of this is featured in a classy old house with an inviting patio. The service was personable, knowledgeable and attentive. I loved this place! | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 b3shine (178) Cincinnati, Ohio | September 6, 2012 Nice new pub on Riverside. They’re currently brewing their beers at Great Crescent, but they plan to brew there within the next two years. Food was good, as was their draft selection. A nice spot that I’ll definitely be returning to. | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 Tmoney99 (366) Cincinnati, Ohio | August 8, 2012 Street parking, both sides after 6 PM. Two story building with entrance on the side in patio area. Bar in the center with tables around the walls and upstairs dining. Freindly people with growing knowledge of beers. Goods selection with their own production brews. did not eat, but the menu looks like a nice change of pace for Cincinnati. Well worth a visit going to or away form downtown. | 96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 19/20 lovely10987 (7) Cincinnati, Ohio | August 5, 2012 New East Side gem.
