My first visit to this restaurant was a pleasant one. The restaurant has the feel of being part sports bar (LOTS of TVs), part restaurant, part music (MORE TVs...but with music videos). Beer selection is good, but not amazing. Of the 50 taps, all but five were beers of a quality above that of the BMC crowd and, most notably, twelve of their taps were of local Indiana breweries. The food was good, but the selection was a bit limited. My wife and I both had burgers and were both very satisfied with our choices. Mine featured goat cheese and roasted tomatoes...a risky choice, I felt, but it turned out delicious. Their menu could do with the addition of a few more sandwiches, but that’s my only complaint about the food. Service was also strong. The waitress told us about their beer specials and a few options not on the beer menu. She seemed knowledgeable about the beer names and styles, as well. Overall, this was a visit well worth it. By taking advantage of their beer specials, I managed to get two local pints for $3 each and reducing my bill noticeably. The food was tasty and plentiful. And the beer selection, while not overwhelming, had a great focus on local brews, making this a great location for Indy-area residents (or those traveling through) to try some of our constantly-popping-up breweries without searching through liquor stores or visiting each brewery individually. I will absolutely come back to this restaurant and enjoy more local brews!
