84 Primera parada en Brighton antes de la comida, buena selección de cervezas de barril principalmente locales. sitio acogedor, buena parada. |
76 Visited August 2016. |
72 I confess that I don't particularly remember this place as a place, I wrote no keywords, so nothing shocked or wowed. Apart from the beers we drank, that is. My beer notes tell me that we got some absolutely tip-top real ales here, and the fact that this was the first place in Brighton that Mark and Sarah took us to implies that it has a reputation, and I conclude that reputation is justified. So it's a high priority place for me, so that I can engrave some memories into my skull if nothing else. Just from the numbers - the best beer place in town. |
92 Cute little pub. Awesome cider on tap! Nice for a date |
78 Quirky bar, it's a short walk from Craft Beer Co. Cask & keg beers served, a choice of around 12 to 15. Nice atmosphere, this place was my favourite bar on a crawl around Brighton |
76 Visited August 2016 with beery friends. A bit of a walk ( 15 minutes from train station ). But for sure worth a visit. Smaller cosy pub, nice selection of beers and served in good condition. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. They do nice food, looking at the menu, will for sure try to eat there next time.. |
80 Visited in the afternoon. Seemed like a traditional pub, has a local feel to it. Very good selection, 9 kegs, 5 casks and 4 ciders. Mostly local stuff, no macros. Thy even had some merch from Late Knights. Worth visiting. |
72 Visited on a Saturday evening in November 2015. Quite a small place with two rooms. No tables available so ended up perching on a few empty barrels. Decent range of beer from Late Knights and Brighton Bier, all were well kept and decent quality. Prices were not too bad, service good. Only a couple of mins from CBC Brighton and worth it to check out this place. |
68 This is not much to my liking. The place itself is a bit run down, nice service though, however, mainly disappointing Brighton Beer casks. |
82 Maiden visit on 21st November 2014. Pleasant enough atmosphere - full of friendly drinkers, plenty of wood and tungsten lighting, and friendly staff. Was on a crawl so only time to sup a pint of No.33 and a Late Knights ale that alas I did not like at all, however there were plenty more to choose from. Did not touch the "mystery keg". Loved my "Voodo Chile" spicy burger and "half a pint" of chips. A good pub, forms part of a 10-min walk crawl of Dispensary-Craft-Evening Star. Recommended. |
