Brown Jug - Tikahtnu

Right outside the Muldoon gate of JBER makes this a convient location for me. Decent sized place with very helpful staff. Selection was vast from locals, regional, imports, and top lower 48 breweries as well. If your on this side of town worth the stop. Rerate: the staff is very helpful, but their selection has diminished substantially. They are pretty much down to a end shelf of Alaskan beers and a end shelf of micros. Cooler aren’t much better for selection.

Pretty much another typical Brown Jug. Prices are same as all the other stores which is pretty good for Anchorage. Selection is decent, not as many beers as some other places but you might find something that is disappearing around town. Worth checking out if you go to the Tikahtnu area.
