I like this place. They don’t have a lot of taps but quite regularly have some rare beer on tap that other places don’t. And even though the bar area isn’t huge for some reason every time I go here I get lucky and get a seat at the bar. The food is great also. The bartenders tend to really know their beer. They also have events quite often which is very cool. I definitely recommend BLB.

Good service. Good neighbor hood and good atmosphere. Not too many tap lines, but they make it worth your time. Good food to accompany the beer. I would recommend this place.

I have lived near this place for a long time but never managed to make it there until a few days ago First, poor layout inside. The bar is too small, and with the remaining area occupied by tables, some of the servers were kind of unfriendly when I had the nerve to stand drinking my beer. The appetizer I had was ok. Selection is decent, they had a Bell’s release event when I went. Beers not on happy hour are expensive. Clear the tables out of there when you are having a busy night, and this would be a lot better place.

Cool place to hang out and have a beer or two. Nice variety of tap beers - something for every taste. Food is good, service is friendly. And bowling!

Stopped in on 10/30/10. Small place that’s absolutely packed (young crowd, too), but there were two seats at the bar. Staff was friendly and attentive, despite being slammed. I could tell they’re used to it. Good selection of beers, but I was focused on Darkness. Didn’t try the food, but wished I was hungry. Brunch smelled amazing. Worth the stop for sure.

Visited for lunch, midweek. The space is pretty small, but comfortably so. There are is a decent size bar to the right, bar tables in the center, and maybe 8 dining table to the right. Behind all of this is the bowling alley, which is pretty cool. During lunch, no one was bowling, and the place was mostly filled with socialists working on their latest movie treatments. They had wifi, and an electical outlet; two things I was really in the need of. The service was very friendly. I had an egg scramble and a Surly Hell, both were fresh and in good condition. They have rotating Surly and Bells seasonal, plus a solid draft and bottle list. Not huge, but well chosen. The food menu was really quite pricey, considering. In general, a fun place which I am sure is even more so when it is in Bar mode in the evening. The fact its aroun the corner from Herkimer and Moto-I make it an easy choice to visit.

Bowling Alley/theater/bar all wrapped into one. Small draft selection but good offerings overall. Food is good but can be a little pricey. Decent breakfast as well. Fun place to go if you are in town and want o bowl and drink craft beer.

Only eight lanes for bowling but it has a theatre. The beer selection was okay but everything was overpriced, even their local selection. The first two beers I ordered they were out of. If they have an open lane for bowling you should come and check it out, but if you’re just looking for a place to drink there are other options in the area.
