42 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 12/20 DYCSoccer17 (275) Woodland, California | January 26, 2013 Best deal for airport beer I have ever seen. Because airport beer bottle prices are standardized, you can get 33cL bottles of Triple Karmeliet and St. Bernardus Tripel for $7 a bottle. 750mL bottles of Allagash Curieux for $20. Otherwise, what is expected at an airportl | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 Dogbrick (561) Columbus, Ohio | December 24, 2012 (Visited 10/2012): Burgers & Brew is in the Sacramento airport in the B terminal.
As with most airport spots, you walk up and order your food, and there is a public seating area nearby. Taps are visible and they display the bottled beer behind the counter. ,br>
As for the beers they offer a Burgers & Brew house beer called Sacrament. Apparently they brew a couple different beers now. It was actually not bad, and it is nice to find a small brewer represented in an airport. There are 3 other draught beers available including Samuel Adams and Stella. Around 12 bottles including Green Flash, Allagash, Leffe, Duvel, Knee Deep and St. Bernardus.
Service was decent all things considered. The woman behind the counter filled me in on some of the details about the B&B beer. Expect airport prices though.
As for the food, my burger was decent, definitely a step above most airport fast food.
Overall I am a subscriber to the "any port in a storm" philosophy when it comes to beer places in airports so I would definitely hit this place again. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 17/20 cionco (4) California | May 31, 2012 Good beers! Good burgers! Busy place. Servers could be friendlier at times. Overall good. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Swillbur (24) Arizona | February 28, 2012 Imagine my suprise when i found this place! In an airport, serves nice burgers and has craft beer by the bottle! I got a mushroom and onion burger and a duvel for about 17 bucks. Not really bad considering some other airport food ii have had in the past! Other selections were nice. Chimay Blue, Green Flash Ipa, allagash and a couple others. There were 3 or 4 domestic taps and the food came out fast and fresh! Noticed wine as well. |
