Fun place to have a drink with your friends and the prices are relatively good considering you are on the old market on Leuven.

Nice place to have a godo Belgium beer.

Visited on a Saturday night. Nice typical brown Belgian beer café interior, wood, nice selection of beers although nothing spectacular. Music was way too loud and not particularly appealing (club music). Stayed for one beer and left.

Nicely decorated (old beer ads) pub on the Oude Markt / Old Market Square (locally known as "the longest bar in the world"). Can be crowded in weekends. Loud music (as in most other pubs on the Oude Markt) Very nice selection of some of the best beers Belgium has to offer.

Café with a lot of differt beer on the menu and it has a beer ambiance (lots of beer advertisement on the walls). The palce is small and a big terras.

This seems to be relatively new (a year or so). It is located at the far right corner of the Oude Markt, if you get there from the cathedral. I gave service a 5 because on a crowded saturday evening they did not serve but you had to get your beer at the counter, the staff was really nice and helpful. It was definitely not the "cosy quiet" pub but more a rock cafe. And after all, the beer is really affordable for this town (Orval for 3 €). The boss does not like "supermarkt" prices like 2,90 or 3,90, most beers are for 2 or 3 €. The selection of approximately 80 beers seems to grow.
