One of the better places in the region to have a beer. It has a very homely feel with a variety of seating arrangements, a fireplace (!) and mostly local customers. Their large bottle list has a lot of the more known Belgian and Dutch beers on it, but you can find some rare / harder-to-get beers and lesser known beers as well. While we were there they had a special bokbier-menu as well, with over 20 lesser known bokbieren. The staff was inviting en knowledgeable.

Nice cafe in the center of Oosterhout, with a feeling of decorum. Good selection of beers, great atmosphere and nice events.
Definitely worth a visit when you find yourself in the neighbourhood!

One of the best hangouts in the region for Craft Beer. They have a great selection. The food is basic but good. The music is just faintly in the background, which makes this bar a perfect place for a good conversation. Smoking is only allowed in the designated room, so there’s no smoke desensitizing your taste buds and nose!
They could do with some more beers from outside of Belgium and the Netherlands though.
