Itís been a couple of years since I visited, but apparently I never reviewed the place. When I was there it was a quiet afternoon and the brewer even gave me a little tour of the brew facilities. Definitely enjoyed my afternoon there, so Iíve got to revisited this place sometime in the future.

Packed when I visited for the Beyerd beer festival (also combined with an important local football match), so hard to get a feel for what itís like normally. Interesting local beers on tap including there own of course, and prices seemed reasonable compared to in the Randstaad. We met the brewer who was enthusiastic and friendly giving us a personal tour of the brew facilities and a Beyerd beer that Iíd missed trying at the festival itself. Nice place, nice crowd, and would certainly return.

Nice place. Seemed to be full of locals. 6 of their own beers on tap plus others plus a good beer menu. Recommended
Part of Bredaís cultural heritage. Great bar with knowledgeable staff and an amazing kitchen. They serve their own nice brews as well as pretty much every Benelux classic available. Decorum is a little old fashioned for my taste but atmosphere is always good. They could update their beer card with some more small Dutch craft brewers as well as some of the popular new US craft beers.
A must visit place if in the area of Breda. Not only does this bar have a great menu of Dutch and Belgium beers but it brews itís own selection of Beyerd beers as well. The classic is a simple thirst quencher but you can taste the freshness in every sip while the bruin is absolutely fantastic and served perfectly - the main reason I returned every day that I was in Breda! I also tried the Lentebier which had a strong aroma of pear and while you can taste it, it by no means overpowers the taste of the beer. They also had 2 different weizenbiers while I was there but I didnít try them. All of the beers are at a very reasonable price which is an added bonus. They serve food as well which seems very popular with the customers. They had lots of tables and chairs outside which were very busy thanks to the sunny days but there was always space inside which is decorated with lots of beer related merch and reading material all around. The staff seem to be very knowledgeable and more than happy to tell you about the beers and brewery and help you choose one. They also do take away bottles.
