Nice café with more than average selection of beers. They have their own app for android and iphone of their beerbook, users can lookup and review the available beers.

Ambiance was a big let down since it was jam packed with loud and obnoxious students. Beer selection was okay, nothing special or rare. Does have the local brew which I can definitely recommend (De Hemel).

What a jewel this place is a find selection of beers and a great place for a beer and meeting people. A better bar in this city is unlikely for the visitor.

Interesting bar in the centre of Nijmegen, typically for the town this bar offers a wide range of beers (somewhere like 60-80 bottles and roatating taps). Selection is good though most beers are well-known amongst ratebeerians. Worth a stop when in town. Ambiance is usually great here.

Typical Dutch "brown cafe" appearance, cosy environment, well-dressed and friendly, rather knowledgeable staff. Good and decent selection of beers, mainly Belgian, Dutch, and American, some Germans. They are regularly rotating interesting beers on the tap and specialties list. There is more focus on small Dutch breweries and specialties, and nowadays there are a few bottles of Oersoep (the other Nijmegen brewery) on the list. Look for the blackboards over the bar.

A nice beer place to spend an evening, especially if you don’t want to leave the city centre.
They do habitually poor bottled beers at the bar, without serving the bottle with the beer. If you ask they will serve you the bottle though.
