The pub/cafe was situated on a corner and inside it is quite dark but festooned with posters and also beer related paraphanlia. The landlord was lovely and showed me the beer list shortly after we arrived, it was a jolly decent list and good prices as well. I guess that this would be a cracking bar on a busy evening but a Monday lunchtime when we arrived us never going to be busy. If in Arnhem I would definately go here again however Arnhem whilst not without it’s plus points is hardly a place I would rush to go to again, sadly WWII destroyed much of the buildings of historic interest and the City is a tad grim. However back to the pub, beers were good and list would keep even the most fussy beer geek happy, if not then they are too geeky :-)

Excellent old fashioned bar, full of character(s). Mainly Belgian selection, but far and away the best place in town.

NIce selection of mainly Belgoium beers inlcuding the Trappist beers. Perfect old style bar for tasting and enjoying a beer. No finery, it is what it is.

Slow day. Bartender treated me like gold. Spoke to me in fluent English. Very good selection with good cross section of area styles. Had a great couple of hours.

Dark brown interior, typically Dutch (beer)bar. OK selection, quite a lot of beers but hardly any surprises. Music was mostly 70s rock when we were there. An OK beerbar and probably your best shot in Arnhem.
