Huge grocery store with large selection of both local and international beers. Many beers available as singles. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. A nice place - convenient to Fort Sam Houston.

It’s a grocery store with a great selection, man. They have a great distributor and fair prices - I’d get a 6-pack here every week or 2 when I lived in San Antonio. Don’t expect anyone at the store to know anything about beer.

I can’t believe I haven’t rated Central Market yet?!?! Very centralized location, on Broadway, just north of Downtown. Upscale "grocery store" if you could call it that. Great spot for foodies and beer geeks. I think they have some sort of distribution deal that get’s them lots of seasonals and limited release stuff before just about any other beer store in town. Very good prices along with a very good selection (for San Antonio) get this store a solid rating from me.

Best place I’ve found in San Antonio so dar as far as variety. Staff helpful usually and one even got me something I saw in a gift basket and wanted just one of. Again, great beer selection.

Best selection in San Antonio. Awesome food selection don’t know how you can ding it for that. Especially since this is not just a grocery store. Ambiance is way better than a typical grocery store. And the service in the beer section is phenomenal. Way better than a ’grocery’ store would have. The staff in the beer section are pretty knowledgeable. This was my local beer store, and I sure miss it.

It’s a grocery store... so food, ambiance & service are kinda out in my opinion. Great selection when I’m looking for something new. They even have beer tastings on occasion.

Pretty good selection of beer. Probably one of the best in the SA area. Wide selection of single beers, bombers, imports, 500mLs, etc. Also have pre-made gift baskets of imported beers of all styles. Friendly staff that is willing to go in the back and search for something not on the floor or suggest alternatives. Huge selection of American craft beers as singles and 6 packs. Also good selection of Belgians. Food selection is awesome with a ton of choices for take home meals, party trays and gourmet palates.

Great craft beer selection. They are always getting something new in every week or every other week. I always come her at least once a week, or every other to make sure I do not miss something, because if you do not you may lose out. They have a single section as well but do not always put the best beers in there.

This place has the best selection of bottled beer for a grocery store in San Antonio. You want to stock your fridge with the best beers.. This is the place. No one else comes close (Whole Foods has good selection.. but not near as large). As far as food.. they have most everything you can think of..

It’s a Central Market...you’ve been to one you’ve been to them all. This one was fairly straight-forward. Parking was a nightmare when I went; you literally had to fight for a spot. Full wall of beers available. Fair selection of Austin brews as well as other locals. Unfortunately they do not allow you to break up 6 packs, which greatly disappointed me. This is always one feature that I appreciated about Central Market that this one chooses not to do.
