This is in a large shopping center right next to the freeway but there is really only one entrance. If you over shoot it there is no entrance on the south side or around the back so you have to drive all the way around and try again. Itís a large very nice building. Itís a moderately high end restaurant but they have no problem letting me sit at the bar in jeans and t shirt and do a taster flight. The bar itself is an island with seats on three sides.
During my visit they had six regular beers on and four specials including a pumpkin beer, some kind of ESB, a raspberry beer (for breast cancer month), and a coffee stout. Over all the beers were OK. The place and the service are quite nice and the prices were a bit steep. Probably not a major beer destination for me but it IS very close to at least two other breweries.
A nice brewpub a little ways out of town. A nicely finished interior with a small patio area out front. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. They had 10 beers available on my visit and had samplers available. Had the nachos and they were enjoyable, but prices were a touch higher than some of our other stops. A nice stop overall.
Originally went here a number of years back when erway was there. We had the full selection of beers, additional beer from the back and food. Everything was very good.
Second time the ambiance and overall enjoyment suffered because the personal touches were not there.
Stopped in on a weekday afternoon. Located in a shopping area on the I-25 outer road but a stand-alone building. Nice and big and clean but not a lot of character. Good amount of taps; I think I counted 12 handles, with at least 5 rotators when we went. Service was friendly and pretty knowledgeable. Didnít eat. Prices were good. Beers were good but I had been spoiled by a couple one-off bottles before visiting. Worth a stop if you have a few days but wouldnít be my top recommendation in town.
Ambiance - nice, but nothing extraordinary. It was a nice restaurant.
Service - Excellent. Actually had a young waitress who could discuss beer.
Selection - 9 microbrews on tap, nothing beyond their own.
Food - What we had was good,
Value - Not overly priced but not a bargain by any means. Worth the price, though.
Locate in a strip mall off the highway. Inviting interior, with dark wood and heavy patterned walls and carpet, but with a lot of natural light(at least during lunch). Service was good as was the beer and food. I had the IPA and Golden Lager. was introduced to the 3-4 beer limit here - most places in Albuquerque "suggest" you only have three beers and then leave. Not sure how a bar survives with this strategy - maybe itís not enforced. Not sure, but I didnít feel the need to push the limit here.
