An english bar which is more English than one in England. Charlie’s certainly holds its Cask Marque with pride. The beer selection is top notch here where you can tell each tap is looked after properly which would make any brewery proud. There are beers for all. The staff make you feel welcome and know their beer. Although maybe some might seem to be sarcastic you quickly find out it is the charm of the place, which really gives it that English feel. The bar itself is well kept and a lovely little place to take friends, or be by yourself. In the summer the front window opens up which extends the bar into the street. The regulars of the bar are also most welcoming, and you can enjoy charming and funny conversations with them all. All in all this bar is one of the best and I would recommend it to anyone.

As a Londoner now living in Copenhagen I am sure Charlie’s bar will now be my first port of call when ever i am homesick for a good traditional UK cask ale. On my visit last night it was very busy but easy to get served fairly quickly. Great ambience and love the decor with the ale clips hanging from ceiling. The pint of crouch vale amarillo was in perfect condition and the highlight of the evening, even though there was so much else left to try. Great place

Nice English Pub with good selection of British beers. Place is often crowded.

As an expat living in CPH this is the premier place to socialise and drink real ale in a real pub atmosphere. Busy all the time, quieter on Sunday afternoons though, there is a regular turnover of cask ales from a wide selection of UK breweries. The attention to detail ensures a Cask Marque hangs proudly on the wall. Prices are very reasonable for the centre of town.

If you are looking for a classic English boozer in Copenhagen, this is it. It's a little piece of Blighty so far away from home. They have a great selection of English ales and European beers. A truly awesome draft choice. Go find it.

Pretty true British-style pub. Nice range of casks (really, there’s some impressive stuff to be had in here) and decent kegs, too. Pump clips adorn most of the available ceiling and wall space. Good spot. I could happily spend a bit of time in this place.

6 place small wood bar with tall wood stools and short rail. 6 hand pull beer engines. Flatscreen TV showing EPL footfall matches. Only a dozen or so seats. Very cozy. Lots of UK expats. Friendly crowd. Mug club mugs. Beer memorabilia on all interior surfaces, photos, handle labels, posters, coasters.

Small and basic but loads of character. Beers change frequently but always something good on offer. Perfect place for a good beer at the end of the working day (or walking day if you’re a tourist!).
