Visited a few times over the years. Sister bar to the Euston Tap directly opposite. Seems a bit more roomy inside but that may just be because itís never been busy when Iíve popped in. Good to have a specialist cider bar but, although thereís invariably smething new for me, the range is fairly wide but on the safe side as far as traditional ciders go. Usually too many sweeter ciders for my liking and also some keg stuff from borderline traditional producers. Probably didnít do as well as the owners hoped as itís due to change into the beer-focussed Northern Tap later in 2016.

2015-09-23. I came here for a quick half-pint between sessions across the way at Euston Tap, and then came back again on the Friday night. Similar to the Euston tap, it is much quieter, and yet feels just a touch smaller somehow. It seems more finished/polished and more rough at the same time. Upstairs feels a bit like hiding in someones attic. Only one working toilet today, which meant the queue was even more dire than at the Euston Tap during the after work rush. Good selection of ciders. Well worth a visit but unless you are big cider fan, the Euston Tap is the better of the two in my opinion.

looks the same as Euston Tap on the inside. Focus on cider, with 12 taps. Tried a fw cider and had a decent time. Staff seemed a bit uninterested.

Located opposite the great Euston Tap in a similar size space but with a completely different feel. Interior boasts much more wood (think wooden bartop, back shelving & large wooden barrels for tables). Cider list is scrawled by hand on a large chalkboard that takes up the entire back wall.

Itís a lovely bar which has never seemed busy on all my visits, and almost always populated by tourists, usually American, eager to try Englandís famous cider.

And thatís where the Cider Tap falters. The selection concentrates mainly on still Bag in a Box "real" cider & perry. Itís a large selection, usually around 15-20 on offer, but you sense it desperately needs two large double fridges full of bottled sparkling cider to truly represent a fuller picture of what UK cider is capable of. Not the limited small bottled selection they currently have.

Staff, although helpful, similarly have almost no cider knowledge besides what theyíve tried from the cider selection themselves. Anyone visiting London should pay a visit to Mother Kellys who have a much better bottled cider selection in my opinion. If the Bag in a Box cider does it for you, then Bree Louise round the corner usually has around 6 on offer as well.

Visited just after opening on Monday 20/04/15 - thatís 3pm, not 1200, have corrected the info on the entry. Former gate house of the Doric Arch on the Euston Road, bang opposite the Euston tap, sister venue. Set up inside is a little different, bar to right as you enter, similar spiral staircase to the upstairs level. About 10 or so ciders on tap during my visit, with my Dad - heís the cider man, but you are of course allowed to bring beers across from the Euston Tap and vice versa. There was also a token beer on offer - Bernard Pils. Service was friendly and tasters were offered freely. Bench seating outside in addition to the rather small interior. Solid venue and seemingly a decent choice of ciders.

Really good place opposite Euston Tap. Cool to see a place dedicated to cider.

Not necessarily fair to rate this, as I was only here very briefly, once. I liked the environment, prettier, and less full of Londonís suited twats than its sister next door. There was an attempt at a cider = rustic tone, which worked for me. Choice of ciders was good - several would have been ticks for me. The one I had was pukka. Alas I donít know how quickly it rotates. If itís just the fixed dozen, end of, then I would probably drop it a couple of points. If Iím passing through Euston and I have just 15 minutes, Iíd pop in here first.

A bit more rustic than the neighbouring Euston Tap, spartan but appealing. Not enough of a ciderhead to know exactly how good the cider list is, but itís certainly extensive.

Not a bad place to pop in for a change of beverages. Revisited over summer and honestly not somewhere I came very much (if at all) whilst I was residing in London. Always quiet on my visits and far from the bustle of traffic passing thru Euston Tap across the road. Having said that, worthy a visit to try a good selection of cider on keg and stillage.

Brilliant if you like cider, the Euston Tapís cousin is a bit rustic chic, a bit Continental cafe. The cider selection is very good but not great: a lot of Lilleyís when I was there and a few others from various parts of England. Keg outnumbers still. Calvados and Normandie cider also available, Strongbow is not. I would however like some better quality ciders, as some are pretty poor. Please note that it isnít as busy as the Euston Tap, and Iíve noticed that it can close significantly earlier.
