A not-to-miss beer bar at Oviedo. It is managed by a friendly couple that will gladly help you choose the right beer. Their selection of bottles is periodically updated: Belgian, German, British as well as some handcrafted American and Spanish beers. There fixed taps and a rotating one. Great ambient classic rock music. If you happen to be at Oviedo be sure to drop by!

A surprisingly good place to have beer in Oviedo! Quite centrally located, conveniently, next to a brewpub which is also of an interest to beer hunters. Seemingly cold ambiance, but with lot of breweriana details. Music, like I was choosing, old school hard rock & heavy metal, not played loud so if you’re not into that it doesn’t bother. Several taps, rotating, I think three fridges full of various Spanish and good foreign bottles. Fair prices, great friendly and helpful service. You get snacks with every order which my gf liked a lot. Fluent English which is not common in the north, so I didn’t even try at first. Planned to pay only one visit but couldn’t resist to go there both evenings I could. I was sorry to see this place relatively empty, I just hope for the owners and the welfare of the place it was just a wrong time. Excellent one, will always remember it!

It was a really nice surprise to find this beer paradise only 5 minutes away from Oviedo’s gothic cathedral. The owners are a friendly beer-loving couple who gave me a lot of interesting tips about spanish breweries and not-too-known international beers. They have a wide selection, with a focus on german and belgian beers (as they should :), lots of english and irish choices and some interesting spanish "traditional" beers. My tip, go local and try the "Caleya", an Asturian pale ale... and then just sample whatever they have on their suggestion list! I can’t imagine coming back to Oviedo and not passing by Cimmeria
