great ambiance, great design. 42 taps, SC & SE well represented. Only one bartender & place got quite busy so drinks took awhile but not her fault. Solid selection & atmosphere. Comfortable. Food was OK, meatball bomber was good, chicken parm sandwich was McDonalds bad. Based on strictly beer selection & ambiance this is a great place

Among the more handsome, elegant places I checked out during my recent evening in town. Well appointed with leather furniture, dark wood, nice bar fixtures and lamps. Food menu and cocktails looked nice. Not the biggest tap list but well chosen and predominantly local. Good service, very nice atmosphere overall.

Awesome feel to the place. Nice staff with a pretty good selection. Food was great. Away from the main strip but the best place to grab a pint in Charleston.

I found a pretty solid selection here. They didn’t have a huge tap list, and they do not have bottles, but it seems to rotate pretty regularly and have some solid offerings. My biggest complaint: not a ton of local beers, they had mostly Micros on that are readily available in my area, when I’m traveling I like to see local stuff on a good # of taps so I can try beers I can’t get at home. Maybe that was just bad luck, but I can only judge from my visit...

They seemed to have a lot of lighter beers on for the return of the college kids so that was disappointing. Only had a few local beers. Food was great and it seemed like a good place to go for the locals.

Very good selection of tap beer from the Southeast region and elsewhere. Barkeeper was knowledgeable and gladly poured samples prior to ordering. The food menu is pretty limited and I did not order food.

Cozy place with a fake fireplace and some comfy chairs. Relatively cheap, with 10 oz beers available. The servers were friendly and helpful, and seemed generally knowledgeable. My food was good, my dads food wasn’t as good. About 6 or 7 local draft options. Also, the bathroom was wallpapered with old beer book pages. Classic. I was there in the winter outside of "college season", but the server said they attracted more of a "grad school" crowd. We went further up on King St. later in the night and I think I understood what she meant. Great place, absolutely worth checking out.

Great atmosphere and good beer selection. Where else are you going to find Mikeller on draft in the low country. Great ambiance and decor. Very cool place to hang out in, good food, and great tunes.
