Itís a theme pub twinned with a theme restaurant in a cellar, looking like a cross between a tivoli, a kindergarten, and a bar. Pretty waitresses all uniformed. Probably quite lively in the evening, but totally empty in the afternoon. Didnít really like it, and there wasnít really very much interesting beer to be had, either. No Hungarian craft beer. Wouldnít go out of my way for this place.

Quite a selection of Belgium beers and some others from around Europe. Dissapointing on Hungarian variety, but OK I scored an Israeli beer. Unfortunately not the best beer from that country.

Visited on a nice sunny afternoon, which is a waste because this a really dark, cavernous place. Only a few other customers. Very friendly lovely bar ladies. Donít expect to find any rare beers but if you need a break from the ubiquitous pilsners and lagers, worth a visit.

Right around the corner from my hotel on the Pest side of the city, so it was worth checking out. Kind of narrow and dark, with a good amount of smoke down in the basement bar area. It ended up being pretty crowded due to the rainstorm that forced everyone indoors. Pretty solid selection, and I would imagine very good by whatís typically available in Hungary. Lots of German and Belgian beers with a few Hungarian and Austrian beers. Service was adequate, and dealt with my English fairly well because there is no way on Earth I could figure out any Hungarian. Karaoke was set up, but thankfully wasnít being used. Worth a stop if youíre in that section of town and what they have sure beats drinking Dreher Pils all day.

Crowded place with a wide selection of beers, but without any care about beers(glass, temperature...). And with a terrible karaoke.

This is youth place. Like caesar said:"Service was performed by some lovely ladies", but they were very pissed off vhen I was there. Good selection of beers. Hungarian DJ was performing too loud annoying electronic music, and the place was very suffocatingly and hot.

I visited this bar with jerohen way back in 2003, when we went to budapest. It was located almost next to our youth hostel, and to our surprise they served over 100 different beers. Some Hungarian beers, but most belgian and german. Quite good selection, especially for hungarian terms. I canít recall exactly the amount of taps they had. Service was performed by some lovely ladies, so that scores points! However, the beers were quite expensive and sometimes people were doing karaoke, which i dislike to say the least.
