Classy scrubbed up bistro restaurant with excellent simple-type food of the soup, sandwiches and sausage variety. Hellish expensive for what it is but it’s only 100 metres off Gendarmenmarkt so this is land price central. A classy bar, bistro, bread factor, sausage seller and occasional beer peddler. All good but for the ghastly music, often delivered through the local take on Radio Vomit. The standard beer range is on the main menu but they have a good stock of others on a special menu reserved for those who know. We are talking € 6,50 for 30 cl of pale ale from a cool dude with a brew kit and a reputation. You pay for the quiet location, the space and the smell of woodsmoke that pervades from the grill. The beer range evolves and is not always obvious, so ask. The wi-fi password is masterstueck - and works.

Quite a posh restaurant on a quiet street. The prices were fairly expensive. We asked for the Wi-Fi code but were told that it hadn’t worked for 18 months. Service was quick, but it was a quiet Monday afternoon when we visited. There was a fridge full of bottles at reasonable prices, but I think that these were for take-out. Just had 1 drink & left.

Nice restaurant in an otherwise quiet area of the central city. This was the most expensive restaurant we ate at in Berlin. Fancy sausages and also good veggie options. Tap beer is all garbage, and even if you ask for the craft tap of the week it comes out of a bottle. Nice bottle selection but not too big. Also has berliner weisse with the green syrup. They have wifi but do not give out the password to tourists.

I was there in late November early in the evening for dinner. Ambiance was really cozy with a wooden interior, open fire from the grill, etc. Service was good although not extremely knowledgeable about beer: I ordered a menu that’s paired with 3x 0.1l beer. Upon serving the waitress told me the first beer was a Westmalle and was a bit surprised when I asked "which one?" She quickly checked that it was the Dubbel though. Selection was good considering it’s a restaurant and not a bar. The food was really good too, but too little for me. I felt the whole thing was a bit overpriced, that might be caused by the very central and touristy location. Overall a place worth checking out for dinner, but not to simply go and have a craft. Note: You can also buy the bottles and take them with you, for a hefty discount.

Huge place! Very cool interior, looking like a butcher shop. Beer selection is not overly big but has a lot of nice German craft beer in it. The food was GREAT and the staff was very helpful and friendly. A must visit when in Berlin.

You walk in to an amazingly inviting smell of the grill into a nicely spaced out place with a great style of different wooden tables surrounded by different wooden chairs, with the bar and kitchen / open grill on one side. Beer fridges are on display with interesting and very varied selections. Prices are fairly high on some of the bottles, but it’s imports and local craft and there’s cheaper to be had on the more local stuff. Had a selection of sausages which were amazing, so tasty and pretty good value. A modern German take on food and beer. Very friendly and helpful service. Really enjoyed this place!
