Decent bar for the French Quarter. There is live music here - I believe there is a 7pm show which is free, and then a 10pm show which has a cover. They have a few local options here - Bayou Teche, NOLA, and Parish. They also have a decent wine selection and cocktails too. Overall, a must stop if you want to avoid the super touristy area of the French Quarter, want to listen to live music, and enjoy good craft beer!

Arrived here around 11pm and the power was out on entire block. still had to pay cover charge but there was a rockin horn band and it was quite the party. bartender was really frazzled and kinda mean. decent cocktails and ok beer selection. but really good time.

Great music venue with a very good selection of beer, nothing special, but plenty to choose from, John Boutte was playing there so it was a $10 cover, well worth the money and had a night to remember!

Frenchmen St. is an awesome experience and this is a great bar that happens to have a pretty respectable beer selection. Great music venue too. Not quite the beer destination that Avenue Pub is, but just as fun. No real rarities but a good selection of local beers, and the bigger imports, us regionals, etc.

Frenchman Street scene, though the two nights I visited, the music was a little too funk/blues/brass-heavy for me. $5 cover when bands are playing. Locals like NOLA products on tap. Belgian and German taps as well. Good-sized bottle list. A worthy New Orleans stop.

Good bar on Frenchman St. with good beer selection. Frenchman St. is a must in NOLA anyway.

Fun location away from the Bourbon St crowd. Got to meet a lot of great local people here and try some regional beers. I couldn’t stay for the band, but their calendar was packed full of good acts.

Pretty cool place. Great live house band early Sunday evening. Probably the best draft and bottle list for a music oriented bar that I’ve encountered so far. I LOVED the fact that the place didn’t allow smoking. The place was crawling with hipsters (and was sold out of cans of PBR surprise, surprise), but it was still a good time. Not quite as good as Avenue Pub for a beer geek, but still well worth stopping by.

An OK place when trying to get out of the bustling part of the French Quarter and you are walking .. . has a nice feel to it .. pretty good tap list, but nothing will shock you- they have some locals on tap .. . intresting bottle list, had a few german brews i’d never even heard of - if they can even find them in the cooler - ... i’d go back i guess...but Avenue Pub is still the best spot in town ..

Frenchman St. in funky Marigny is a great option when the throngs in Vieux Carre become overwhelming. The crowd is mostly local, and the barkeeps treat everyone like locals. I really enjoyed the Belgian selection. Recommended.
