De Kelk is an amazing place with a great beer selection. Plus they are expanding!

A bit from the city centre but very well worth a visit! Wide selection of beer specialties including a large variety of gueuze beers, Struise Brouwers collection and beers from brewery De Molen. They’re on the brink of introducing their very own developed beer, first batch was made and to my opinion, it’s a great one!

A pub for beer enthusiasts, local, tourists, ... on a short walk from the noise of the touristic center. There is a broad selection of Belgian beers available, with a focus on gueze and Struise Brouwers. The bartender knows a lot about the beers and can help you make your choice. Now and then he opens a bottle of some special beer and shares it with his customers. The big difference with most other (and larger) beer pubs is the personal contact with the staff!

Odd, dark, quirky little pub with a very good, but sometimes very expensive, beer menu. Several beers asked for were not available. Worth the walk down Langestraat but note the limited opening times.

Went there on saturday for the big De Molen tasting they hosted! So I should go back and re-rate on a regular evening. But still, I rate this, because we were a little early and went to the bar for like half an hour to have the Boon Lambic Foeder #10, which was on, just when we arrived. Seems like a really cool beerplace! Owner Jeroen is a really friendly and knowledgeble guy!!

Went here late on a Monday night. Place was nearly empty. Ordered a SVEA IPA and a Pannepeut. Chatted with the owner over Westvleteren as he disappeared in a backroom. He came back with a 5 year aged W 12 which he opened and shared with us. Thats top service. Pub is rather dark and student like but I like it. Selection is verz good, Struise and some rarities in the vaults. Recommended.

Very nice trip. Small little place but adorned with lots of cool bottles. Decent sized bottle list and a good tap list. The bar seemed to have a mix of tourists, beer geeks, and guys just looking to get a quick buzz. If you are in Brugges, I would recommend it

Belgians take pride in their beer; and they’re careful to serve each in its correct glass. So I was a little horrified when the student behind the bar here served me the wrong beer - and even after I pointed it out all he did was apologize for not having the one I asked for! The range is good; but most bars in Bruge have a good range. And this place had some losers sleeping on the bar. Nuff said

De Kelk is probably one of the best beer bars I have ever come across, easily the best bar in Brugge. Aside from the cool chilled out vibe and good music, what really makes this a great place is the huge selection of beer available (some of the rare and unique stuff is not on the menu so you’ll have to ask), loads of stuff from Struise, De Molen, not to mention the excellent selection of Lambic and Geuze for all the sour fans. The owner, Jeroen is really helpful and knows his product inside out with great recommendations and no bullshit, he will happily talk beer with the customers and even gave me a tour of the place which is home to some pretty top shelf stuff and a kitted out tasting bar for special events. If you are ever in Brugge, De Kelk is an absolute must!

Great place to spend evening (there also small shop nearby with good local beer selection). De Kelk got pretty good beer selection (i first tried Hardcore IPA and Black Albert here) for any taste. Place is small but very cozy. If you can’t make your choice – owner/barmen will help you with pleasure.
