Been here a long time ago. Didn’t think it was a beer place, since their collection of beers were quite the usual for Belgian standards. The atmosphere the place breaths is something else. Very cosy, enough space and medieval. Great ambiance! Food was good, service was good. Though I doubt the same people still work there. Again, selection is/was quite standard, but luckily many of the Belgian places have decent beers in their cellar(s).

The court between all the buildins is a decent place to relax a bit away from the more tourist-places. Not really a big selection, but it’s doable. The staff is not totally enjoying the job it seems, and some things are just to dirty (the plastic chairs outside looks like you will be sick for a while when touching it, waitress with holes in the clothes she gets from the boss, ...). Enjoyable (mostly cause the charistic location of the terrace), but some stuff to really make better.

Nice place for a quite beer during the day, decent beer menu with a few specials on.
