Stopped in for a quick pour just to say I have had a beer at The Hoppy Loft. Cool place with some pretty good stuff on. Glad I hit it up on my quick trip.

Upstairs of delirium cafe. Quiet place, we were only ones there on tuesday evening. 10 taps, half belgians and half rogues and some british. Good bottle selection: usa, denmark, germany, scotland, england. Belgians are quite cheap but others are expensive.

Ambiance is way better than downstairs at Delirium Café. Calmer and there was even some locals I think. Service wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. The guy was doing his job without bothering too much about being friendly. Bottle selection is good (not quite as extensive as Delirum Cafe, but with some better options I think), but the draft selection was poor... Rogue Yellow Snow was probably the best thing available. Price are a tad high, but not bad for Brussels. I could see myself going there again... but when you have Moeder Lambic Fontainas a couple of streets away, the choice is easy.

Visited yesterday, way better than downstairs except in selection but the ambiance was more reminiscent of Ibiza than a serious pub. We saw at least three people throwing up around us, the lines were long, the acoustic was horrible and it was extremely hot. Too many too drunk and too young people at the same time.

Much better at all than the downstairs main Delirium. I have enjoyed some great craft beer from USA, Scotland, Denmark.

I like this place better than the downstairs because it’s less crowded and easier to order a beer. The staff has been extremely nice and helpful during my visits. Their selection also varies more and provides decent prices on many things and high prices on others. I have never come here without finding a smoking deal on one of their rotating taps. Recent trips have seen Mikkeller George and Evil Twin Biscotti Break for 4 Euro each. That’s like a sore dick, can’t beat it!
