Nice old wooden storehouse by the river that’s been partly converted into a big rambiling pub, divided into many rooms. They have the best beer selection in Trondheim, with a good range of imports, and a number of local beers. When I was there they’d sold out of Kinn, and had no other local beer, but they do try to stock it. The service is good, but beware of the cold when temperature is below zero. Also, the food is disgraceful.

As this is the best beer place in Trondheim I had to visit them when I was in town. The place is old but charming. The day before I visited them they had a big party that had emptied most of their kegs so the selection was less than usual. They claim to have over 200 bottles available, but I could only count around 30-40. As always in Norway the prices are high but not worse than other places in Norway. I didn’t try the food.

Old bar & building- nice place. Knowledgeful & helpful bartender.
Good bottle selection (100 minus), not to much interesting on tap the evening of my visit- but it will vary. Some exciting bottles, but most quite available. The pub does noe operate with beer lists- but they will help or you look at whats exhibitrd in the bar
Worth a visit

Nice bar overlooking the river. Weather permitting, the barge is a good alternative to the indoor seating. Bottle selection much better than the few taps available. Seemed like they were out of micro taps, except for one Nøgne. Could not locate a bottle menu. The QR (bar code) displayed on the wall claimed to offer one, but it did not work on my phone reader.

Visited a quiet Sunday evening in August. Den gode Nabo has an outdoor "patio", that actually is a float in the canals in Trondheim. Excellent view over the old part of Trondheim. Indoors a nice, brown "beercave", with a lot of corners you can hide in. Selection was somewhat poor, when I was there: Draught only Ringnes\Carlsberg alternatives, Pilsner Urquell and Sam Adams. The bartender told me, that they had an exceptionel summer, and had sold out Usually their selection is better. Good student vibe at the place. Their outdoor terrasse overlooking Bryggen in Trondheim makes this place worth a visit. Especially if selection improves after the summer.

A cozy bar/restaurant. The music were way too loud when we visited this place. We got served a oktoberfest in a erdinger weizen glass, and a Old Speckled in a Lapin Kulta glass. For a beergeek this is causes a negative reaction. Service is mediocre. Did’nt visit this place again.

Cool pub in Trondheim, located in an old building next to/on top of the river Nidelva. Attracts very different crowds, which can be quite amusing. Good selection of beers.

Best selection of beer in Trondheim and the majority of the range seems to be hand picked by quality. Focus on Norwegian and American craft beer. Friendly and engaged staff. Possibility to get a nice dish of food at a reasonable price as they have collaboration with the restaurant above. Some other reviews mention the price, but the import beers seems to be on the same level and sometimes below what’s normal in Norway. Regarding the price for the local beer – that’s reality and the price to pay for being an independent pub that don’t sell their soul to the big macro breweries. And why pick Dahls at a place you could find real beer.

Good selection and really good service. It´s alittle to high priced, but if you ask, they do got some exclusive stuff in the basement!
