I loved this place. A great selection of excellent Milton ales plus a few very good guests. Super service and a very friendly place. I really liked the interior too. Check it out!

A nice place to have Milton beers. Pegasus, Carmina Burana & Colossus were my choices (2010, 2011).

We (me & Loz) visited here Sat 14th April 2012. Beer selection was very decent with 4-5 Milton and a couple of guest beers available. The Milton Saturnalia was a stunner and so we had to stop for another. Bare floorboards and quite a bit of wood panelling are the key theme here. It isn’t what you would describe as a cosy pub but it is very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed my first visit here and yet another excellent pub in the grest Mill Road area.

Massive change from how it was when I lived in Cambridge. I don’t miss the heavy smoke, that’s for sure. Great array of hand pumps, and always several Milton beers (this is basically their tap). Slightly hard and wooden feel, not warm and soft, but certainly not unpleasant. Looks good, at least. Always worth sticking your head round the door, but not right at the top of my Cambridge priorities. Having said that, after my last trip, it’s definitely creeping up the list - number 4-ish quite possibly.

A quite pleasant and nice "corner pub" with some nice beers. Fast service and a very nice and chatty landlord even though it was quite crowded, but yet everyone got served their beer quickly. Will definitively pop in again. Final stop during the quick Cambridge pubcrawl.

A quite recent addition to the Cambridge beer scene and (surprise, surprise) it’s a back street pub just off Mill Road. The latest acquisition of the Individual Pub Co (aka Milton Brewery) and good to see Milton running an outlet in their home city. Much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The place has had a thorough interior makeover and reminded me a bit of the Pembury Tavern, which is under the same ownership. Eight handpumps dispensing five Milton beers and three guest ales. As at the Pembury, they seem to get in a number of beers from the same brewery - Great Oakley when I visited - as guests at the same time. Didn’t make a note of the keg taps or bottles. Very enthusiastic young landlord, who we actually met and chatted to at the Elm Tree earlier on. The food looked decent but I just popped in for a quick half on the way to the station so I didn’t eat.
