One of the most dog friendly pubs Iíve ever been in, sometimes there seems to be more dogs than drinkers! It has a selection of 7 or 8 local ales, dominated by blondes/ golden ales, designed to be glugged after a good walk. The house specialty is goulash, which now comes in meat and veggie options. Stocks a variety of beers from the Keswick brewery.

A busy town centre pub with six hand pumps dispensing local ales. Worth visiting along with the similar Wainright just up the road for a beer or two, but donít expect to discover any world beating beers here.

Old World style pub that with its mix of stone and wood that gives it a lot of charm. It prides itself on being the most dog friendly pub in Keswick - and anyone that has spent time in Keswick will know that this is dog central of the Lakes. It has a fine selection of ales, some local and equally its clientele can be a mix of ramblers, day trippers and locals. Situated just off the main square with its Moot Hall this is an appealing place for an afternoon drink or maybe a few more in the evening.
