90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 bhensonb (405) Woodland, California | May 8, 2013 Lunch - 9 samplers - burger. All pretty good. Place is clean and the decor (check the bar) is good - appropriate. One of the owners was tending to bar orders. Fair amount of information was imparted. If you are going through (or near) Morgan Hill, put the address in your GPS. It’s worth the trip. | 80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 womencantsail (390) Garbage Grove, California | February 19, 2013 Large brewpub with plenty of seating outside as well. The hours are very weird; they were just about to close as I walked in on 9:30 on a Friday night, but there were still a bunch of locals in there, so they let me hang out and drink some beer. The service was friendly and the other patrons were, too. An enormous tap list, I believe 16 beers. None were really awful, but very few stood out, either. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 ekoerper (37) Iowa | September 18, 2012 Nice location - plenty of parking, large and well maintained building. Selection of house brews was quite extensive, and everything that I tried was well made. Four-taste samplers are available, always a plus. A highly recommended stop - this should be a priority if you’re in the area. | 84 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 bytemesis (221) Sunnyvale, California | August 25, 2012| Updated December 31, 2012 Well this was a pleasant surprise! Drove down on a whim today to check it out. The brewpub is large, well layed out and well provisioned. The bartender was also the head brewer and more than happy to talk about his beers, which are certainly above average in my opinion. Worth a visit if you are in the area for sure. 4-sample tasters allow you to work through the tap list more readily. |
