Unassuming location south of Alderwood Mall. First thing I noticed was that fantastic wood sign handing on the facade; the place would look awfully drab without a sign of that caliber out front. Interior is nice but not stunning. Small bar with a decent set of handles. I would not suggest bringing large (8+) groups here at dinner. I hear the food is good here but I was there for an event which was catered so was privy to just their drinks *poor me*. Got a chance to walk around the brewing equipment which was fan-fucking-tasitc as I’ve never got that kind of access having always visited breweries and done the standard ’tout-group’ experience. The beer garden outside is a little drab. Oh, and I should mention that the rootbeer is great also.

Super nice place. Why did it take me so long to visit. That won’t happen again. Great tap list and the tap room is very cozy. Loved the brewery and they are putting out some very good beers.

This place is located in an unpretentious area of Lynwood, Washington. It seems as though it is in an industrial park, within a neighborhood. When you walk in it seems quite small, but it has a decent amount of seating. The female bartenders, at least on the night that I went, were hot. That can’t hurt anything, can it? The service was prompt and polite. The prices are awesome. Everything is a deal, from the pints to the growler fills. They serve food, which seemed just like your basic beer food - that is, BBQ, and burgers. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on its quality. The stuff they brew is quite good, but nothing mind-blowing. Don’t let the last statement fool you, the beers are definitely worth the visit, and are interesting to try. I wish this place could get a little more publicity, considering you have places like Elysian getting all of the attention, when a place like this has just as much, if not, more promise of becoming a highly lauded domestic establishment. Give ’er a go if you’re in Washington, at least within the Seattle area, that is.

I had heard about this place for a long time and finally got myself over to give it a try. I thought their beer was solid and tasty and I’ll sure head back here for more when I get the chance. They have a tiny kitchen with tiny sized menu but the garlic fries they turned out for me were just what I needed. The space reminds me a lot of Bold City Brewing in Jacksonville. I was hoping to met Rick the brewer but seemed to have missed him. Maybe next time.

Located in the city without a soul, Lynnwood, Wa. aka the photo ticket capital of the world. It’s a little off the beated path so out of towners might want to google directions. Pretty decent beers here, but nothing that will blow you away, the sodas are noteworthy. Its got a cozy wood paneled pub area with some too large televisions usually tuned to espn or a Mariners Seahawks or Supersonics (rip) game..... It’s like hanging out at your buddys house, you know, the one that turned his basement into a tavern. Pretty nice place, actually.

Gosh Rick, it seems that you might be rating your own place. I think that might be frowned upon, but I do agree that you make some great beer that is true to style. I guess I’ll have to come back some time and try the food.

Gotta hand it to Rick Ellersick--he built this place himself up from a deluxe homebrew setup through garage microbrewing through a brewpub he built with own two--wiring, plumbing, welding, all of it. Friendly, bend over backwards, community-minded, family-minded, sports-minded. Decent array of their own on tap--12 different handles, all well-made, to-style, richly bodied ales with new ones popping out all the time. They’ve steadily developed the ambitions of their kitchen, and now offer a decent array of pub grub with nothing deep fried.
