68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 b727trijet (148) Isleworth, England | February 26, 2013 One of my favourite beers on my 3 day trip to Seattle was the Perseus Porter. Good to see half pint (or thereabouts!) glasses but booo to no wi-fi. Still the beers are excellent. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 jcnielsen (138) Kansas City, Missouri | November 8, 2012 Visited while roadtripping through Oregon and Washington. Located near the stadiums. Beers were generally pretty good and there was a ton of different beers available. However, I was slightly annoyed at the fact that our server didn’t want to serve us smaller sized samplers. | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 olio (28) Tampere, Finland | August 4, 2012 A very large hall-like interior, almost like stepping into a church. A large bar with lots of seats and several booths and tables. Several (>10) house brews on tap with a couple of guest beers. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 DYCSoccer17 (275) Woodland, California | July 16, 2012 I made the mistake of going here about an hour before a Mariners game. There were no seats at the bar, and the staff was overwhelmed. I promptly left, and re-visted after the baseball game (I left in the 8th inning), and there were literally 5 people here. They have about 15 beers on tap with their regulars, and a few special beers. One of those was full of diacetyl, and clearly not ready to be put on tap. I ordered the cured meat platter, which was pretty darn tasty. All in all, a decent place, and probably worth visiting - just not before a Mariners/Seahawks/Sounders game. | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 Smurf2055 (24) Seattle, Washington | June 11, 2012 Good place to catch the game or prefunk before it. Decent food and a nice selection of Elysian and a few special taps. Cool place. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 OldGrowth (138) North Carolina | September 18, 2011 Big warehouse space. Meant to hold the ball game and business lunch rushes. Service was fine when we stopped here, but it was damn slow, Unfortunate timing on our part as at least half the lines we down getting ready for the pumpkin beer line up. I had the esb and ipa. Food was good, usual pub grub salads, sandwhiches, burgers. Prices were fine for the metro area, tad high in the scheme of things. Wouldn’t go here during game time, but fine place to go if your hanging out in the area. | 36 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 6/20 Nuffield (103) Roseville, Minnesota | September 10, 2011 I was here after a Mariners game on a lovely Summer Thursday night and it was virtually empty. I know the Mariners suck, but what’s that about? And then, their taps were decimated. No stout, no porter... Is this place reliable? Our bartender was nice but awkward--far too enthusiastic. The price on samples is a bit steep. Not a great brewpub experience, I’d go to the other location if you must. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 Getbetter (17) Cucamonga, California | February 23, 2010| Updated February 26, 2010 This place was really nice and they make great beer. This Place is more of a bar than a brewery.Bartenders don’t know much about beer.If your in Seattle ,Elysian’s brew is a must to try out while your out there even if you don’t come here..I liked the beer so i can’t really hate on this place. | 68 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 gracefullypunk (4) Oregon | December 26, 2009| Updated February 26, 2010 Go when there aren’t games or events. I’ve never had an issue with the waitstaff--they’re knowledgeable about their beers, as they should be, and score points by allowing soccer to stay on the screen rather than switch to football. Happy hour food is good value but mediocre; regular menu is fairly tasty but higher priced. Elysian’s special brews are often quite good. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 15/20 spenser (11) | December 25, 2009| Updated February 26, 2010 Along with Collins, this is my stop before Mariners games. The room tends to get boomy.service is generally very good, but sometimes you get a hipster who can’t be bothered. The selection is great. Food is very good. Prices are a little high being near the stadiums. Overall a very enjoyable place. |
