Very strange but awesome place. It is inside a colonial era two story house turned into a full bar and restaurant. They have about 8 of their beers on tap, no guest taps, with styles separated by English, Belgian, and French. British styles on cask. French cider on tap was possibly their strongest offering besides their wicked low abv dry stout. Ambiance was awesome, low lighting, old colonial feel. We had a long wait for dinner but wasted time in the bar room with the TV on. Food was good, expensive, with highlights being the Belgian onion soup. Burger was good, lamb shank was good though no sides and odd white beans served with it. A tad bland for me. Prices were up to $20 for entrees. Had fun, food and beer above average. Ambiance high.

I have been wanting to check this place out for a few months now. Convinced foofaa to take me here on black friday, altho it didnít take much conniving on my part.
An interesting, albeit small, space. We arrived shortly after they opened and started in the bar area and it quickly became packed with people. We ordered a beer to pass the time as we waited for our table to become available. It didnít take very long and we were seated in the slightly larger dining room. Our servers were awesome. They helped us pick a few cheeses and we talked about where we had been that day and where we were from, they were very nice.
The quality of the food and beer was top notch. The selection of beer was pretty good. I was really looking forward to trying their blended BA saison but it was all gone, however they put a new limited belgian stout on and I got that instead. I enjoyed most of my beers but only one was really memorable, the dubbel which was very good. The real star of the show is the food. I would say that this place has some of the best food at any brewpub I have been to. The cheese plate we got was a little on the small side for what we paid for it but it was really good. I decided to go with their burger, at $15 it was the most expensive thing on the menu! I am not sure if it was worth that much but it tasted amazing so I guess it was.
Overall a VERY nice brewpub that I will definitely return to in the future. The sooner the better IMO.

Love this place. The beer is solid to excellent, the service is always stellar, and the ambiance is cozy and just...just great. But, IMO, if for no other reason, go for the food. The food is some of the best I have ever had at a brewpub, and is ridiculously well priced. Honestly, it beats a number of Michelin rated restaurants Iíve been to, and at a fraction of the price.

Went here for the first time today. It was a bit hard to find and I scrolled right past at first. The inside is quaint and cozy, with the bar bar area having only 4 seats in front and 2 more to the sides, and separate rooms for dining off the bar area. The barmaid was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The beers, 2 samplers of four each; the first British and the second Belgian saisions, were good to very good, with the IPA and Entre Nous standing out, as did the dry stout. The cheese plate was delicious, the fish and chips above average, and the cost was reasonable. This place is very good, and worth a trip at even an hour drive.

Wonderful, small community place to come and drink local beers. The beer offerings in terms of range and quality are good to very good. Session beer enthusiasts in particular will love this chill, neighborhood place.

Had dinner with my little ones so I probably didnít get the full íbarí experience but itís a perfect little spot for a small brew pub. As noted, older house just off main street in Ambler. Food was good, service good and the beers are interesting takes on standards. The beers are only the onesí the brew but they have a decent tap list which is nice. This is a real local spot, slightly quirky but it does so many things right. If it wasnít a near by spot for me, itíd be one that I did wish I had nearby. An íunderdogí type place that you really like to see busy and hopefully doing well to stick around for a long time.

Very small, quaint British style pub in an old Victorian house. They didnít knock down any walls or anything so each room of the house is a separate dining area. Service is excellent at the bar and for dinner. Selection consists of 4 British styles (3 on cask) and 4 Belgians (or sometimes 3 and 5, or vice versa). Both the Belgians and British styles are quite good, and they seem to improve each time I go as they find their groove. I am not surprised a guy coming from McKenzie knows how to brew some damn good saisons. Iím not usually a huge British ale fan, but the milds are flavorful and the Dukeís Pale and Kinch are incredibly good. Food is tasty. Limited menu with only 5 entrees I believe, though I actually prefer it (I hate decisions). Food prices were a little high but the beer prices made up for it. Overall this is a nice little brewpub close to me so I will definitely be back a bunch of times. Itís like your beer-loving friends moved into your grandmaís old house and turned it into a brewpub. Quickly becoming my favorite local pub.

This is a nice, warm little neighborhood place with great style. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic with the feel of a local 18th Century Inn House, but the servers are friendly and unpretentious. Thus far Iíve had every beer brewed to date since the brewpub opened and all have been good to great. My favorites are Solaire, Lunaire, Kinch, and Queen Anne. Available beers are generally split roughly 50-50 between Belgian styles and English styles, plus the IPA. Three beers are served via hand-pump giving the English styles a very authentic feel. I really dig the emphasis on well-made, characterful session strength beers rather than hackneyed high-gravity monsters. Seating options include the bar (which is effectively a converted living room), dining areas, upstairs lounge/gaming area and outside on the porch. A TV in the bar area is unobtrusive but provides the opportunity to catch a hockey or baseball game while enjoying a fresh pint. On street parking has been a non-issue thus far. The food menu is concise but offers a decent range and the quality and flavors are excellent. I only wish they could be open earlier in the afternoon on weekends. Overall, Iím thrilled to have this place available so close to home!
