On the main road through Hebden Bridge this is a modern take on the traditional small town pub. The decor is modern but comfortable throughout in a building utilising its stone floor and walls. Itís a popular haunt, especially when the tourists come to time and thereís no shortage of beers to choose from, lager and ales, with a more than ample selection of the latter. Food is very much on the menu here too. On the expensive side.

We (Fin, Loz, Nigel. Katy, Mark & Kathy) visited here on Sun 8th April 2012. This was a real cosy feel local with good banter and a very down to earth feel about the place. Beers were from Rosendale and Church End and there was a real cider from Gwatkins available. There was also a decent bottled beer selection from Belgium and other countries. Had a couple and a half pints, very pleasant atmosphere, would happily come back here. I understand that the place is attempting to become a community buy out pub.
