Nicely situated, just on the boarder of the old town of Aarau, perhaps a 100 feet from the Aare river. Spacious. This place has really gone down over the past months/ years. The concept of the new owner has changed. They used to have a great selecion of beers from swiss breweries (yet pricey, including interesting regional micros). Raben, Pauli Bräu, Erusbacher, Degen, BFM (including Saint-Bon-Chien vintages), Trois Dames etc. Not worth while visiting any longer. Friendly young unexperienced staff. Will rerate if visiting again.

About 100 different beers and with pretty many swiss micros.

Drinks shop near the river at the edge of the old centre (which in itself is worth a peek). Large selection of beers fom mainly the smaller breweries in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, but also some from the French part. Good and friendly service.
